About the role

ETW Energy is seeking an experienced Crew Foreman with a track record of consistent, predictable results and continual improvement in safety, efficiency, and quality.

The Foreman is the technical expert on site — providing safety-first leadership to the crew, ensuring every project meets applicable code and OSHA standards, owning 100% site safety, reviewing quality, and serving as the main point of contact for the customer.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise, direct, and train crews on proper installation techniques and best practices for timely, quality completion
  • Serve as the on-site technical expert, ensuring compliance with applicable code and OSHA standards
  • Complete installation and interconnection of the solar array and electrical systems to grid power; coordinate with electricians and technical experts as needed
  • Safely install battery systems and complementary equipment
  • Be the main point of contact for the on-site customer throughout the installation
  • Assist in all facets of the install, including on the roof as required
  • Inspect work vehicles and tools daily, weekly, and monthly to keep everything in safe working order

What you bring

  • Minimum 1 year of solar experience and 2 years of construction experience
  • Experience leading crews of 3–5
  • Able to perform all duties of the Installer and Lead Installer
  • Experience with electrical work involving wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC; electrical license preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications, maintained during employment
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards for solar installations
  • Able to lift 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs with assistance) and work on rooftops of varying pitch in all weather conditions

Benefits

  • Paid, hands-on training and ongoing safety and product certification
  • A real advancement path — Installer → Lead Installer → Foreman
