About the role

ETW Energy is looking for a Solar Sales Representative who sells the way we build — straight, honest, and customer-first. Because we’re an installer and not a dealer, our own crews and workmanship stand behind every promise you make, so you can sell with confidence and no fine print.

This is a 1099, commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. You’ll own your pipeline — self-generating leads through referrals and networking while we back you with company-provided leads, training, and a product homeowners actually want.

What you’ll do

  • Generate and pursue new business through referrals, networking, your own outreach, and company-provided leads
  • Run in-home and virtual consultations — assess the homeowner’s energy use, roof, and goals, and design a solar and battery solution that fits
  • Explain the savings, financing options, and incentives in plain language — educate, never hype
  • Prepare and present accurate quotes and proposals, and guide customers through signing
  • Hand off cleanly to the operations team and stay a point of contact through install
  • Keep your pipeline and customer records current in the CRM
  • Represent ETW with honesty and professionalism — no high-pressure tactics

What you bring

  • Proven sales success — solar, home improvement, or another in-home/direct sales role preferred
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, comfortable owning your own pipeline
  • An excellent communicator who can make technical details simple
  • Comfortable with CRM software and basic sales tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, around customer schedules
  • Able to work as a 1099 independent contractor
